This lesson refreshes the high-frequency particles from Level 1, including list-making and simple contrasts.

Read and notice

  1. わたし は すし を たべます。I eat sushi.
  2. りんご や みかん を たべます。 でも バナナ は たべません。I eat apples and oranges and so on, but I do not eat bananas.

Rebuild the pattern

  1. Pick the noun jobEach particle shows what role the noun has.
  2. Keep the order simplePut the noun before the particle it needs.
  3. Use list markers carefullyと is a complete list, while や or とか gives examples.
