Using 〜てはいけません to say something is not allowed

Use this when explaining a rule or telling someone that something is not permitted.

Read and notice

  1. ここ で たべて は いけません。You must not eat here.
  2. じゅぎょう ちゅう に ケータイ を つかって は いけません。You must not use your phone during class.
